    1. Choose 'Business Settings' from the SellerDeck 'Settings' menu.
    2. Select the 'Payment and Security' tab, then click '+' next to Payment Method to add a new payment option.
    3. Select ‘PayPal Website Payments Pro Hosted Solution’, PayPal Express Checkout, 'PayPal Website Payments' or 'PayPal Website Payments Pro' from the Payment Method drop-down, then click the 'Configure Method' button.
    4. Enter the settings for your PayPal account provided by PayPal during the sign up process. Click 'OK', then 'OK' again.
    5. Update your web site, and PayPal will now be available as a payment option for your customers.

    There are two versions of the PayPal Pro Hosted Solution, running on different platforms on the PayPal side. Each requires a slightly different setup in the SellerDeck ‘Payment Service Provider Configuration’.
    • If you are on the native PayPal platform, you just need to enter the email address associated with your PayPal account into the ‘Business’ field.
    • If you are on the Payflow platform, you will need to enter the corresponding details from your Pro Hosted account into the ‘Vendor’ and ‘Partner’ fields.

    NB neither the SellerDeck software nor SellerDeck technical support is able to determine which platform you are using. If you are unsure and if one set of details does not work for you, try the other. In case of doubt, please contact PayPal.

    Adding Your Logo to the PayPal Payment Page:

    To add your Logo to the PayPal Payment Page, you will need an image 150 x 50 pixels stored on a secure (SSL) server that is accessible via the web. Edit either the template called Act_OCCPayPalTemplate.html or Act_OCCPayPalHostedTemplate.html both are located in C:\Program Files\SellerDeck vXX\Sites\YourSitefoldername\CommonOCC* and enter the URL of your image in the hidden form field labelled image_url and uncomment the field (follow the instructions in the HTML comment).

    Merchant Processing:

    Payment and Order Processing: PayPal payments will appear in SellerDeck as credit card payments regardless of the actual type (eCheck, bank transfer, etc.). eCheck payment confirmations may take several days to process. Until the payment confirmation has been processed, the associated order will be stored on the "Pending Payment Service Provider" tab of the SellerDeck Order Manager. If an order stays on that tab for a long time, check the PayPal transaction history. The payment may have been rejected or the customer may have abandoned the order before completing payment. Always confirm payment acceptance via your PayPal account before shipping any products.

    *NOTE:* All versions after v11.03 will have a file path of 'C:\Program Files\SellerDeck xxxx' or 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck xxxx'
    All versions after v16 will have a file path of 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Sellerdeck xxxx'
    All versions after v18 will have a file path of 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Sellerdeck vxx'
