    how do we overcome this?

    Help!

    when we try to downlaod orders we come across this error message.
    we are losing orders over this please tell us how to remedy this.

    urgent help required!!

    The web script encountered a syntax error in
    the command buffer.

    Possible Cause:
    Unknown
    Recommendation:
    Retry
    Resolution:
    If retry fails, try reinstalling web script

    there is no indication of the web script!!

      When Actinic downloads orders it contacts a script on the web site in order to start the download of the orders. This is a security feature.

      Go onto your website and have a look at your 'acatalog' folder. Look for the files with an extension of .ord. See whether any of them have a full stop somewhere in the filename (other than just before the .ord). Rename the file to remove the full stop. Then try the download again. This problem is fixed in the latest release of v4 so you may want to think about upgrading if you are not on the latest one.

      If this does not work, then try refreshing your store (Web | Refresh Website) and trying the download again. Please note this can take some time over a dial-up connection or if you have thousands of products.
