    URGENT - syntax error

    Please help.

    we receive this error when trying to download orders from our website.
    I have tried reinstalling and copying and pasting the site one contents which normaly work for us.
    where can we find the web script and what is it called please.
    We are losing valuable orders through this , and it would take me a week to start again.
    Is it also possible to change the security key in the housekeeping and possibly remedy this problem and we will just lose a few orders.

    The web script encountered a syntax error in
    the command buffer.

    Retry
    Resolution:
    If retry fails, try reinstalling web script

    The error is coming from a delete command, it is possible that your webhost has changed your file permissions at all.

    It might be worth using ftp or similar to rename the .ord file to .ordold and seeing if orders start downloading then. Keep a copy of the ord files whatever you do.

    Presumably you have tried all the usual fixes of refreshing your site.

      email problems.

        This will happen if you do not have an SMTP server set in 'Advanced | Network Setup' or if your SMTP server is not accessible from the domain that your Actinic store is hosted upon. The SMTP server you use must be the one associated with your web space.

        Also, in future please could you not post the same message in more than one forum. This can make it very confusing for people trying to follow threads regularly.
