    AddToCart...

    Hello All,

Thanks for creating this forum. Ive been searching for some sort of support for ages since i bought catalog v5 recently (only a month b4 v6 came out )

I am in the process of finishing customising my shop. I have edited the index page (Act_CatalogBody), creating the desired feel.

On this page i want to push certain products and quick links to adding items to the shopping cart directly from the index page and not the html pages they lie on.

Ive assumed this is possible with something similar to this:
    Code:
    <a href="https://myserver.com/cgi/ca000001.pl?PRODREF=0854769315&action=AddToCart">add</a>
Has anyone acheived this, or done something similiar?
If not ill have to bin the idea.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Blessings
    Jay-Dee

Also, since you only bought the software a month b4 V6 came out, you're entitled to a free upgrade from Actinic.
Just contact them to get the download

        undocumented... (?)

        Hello,
        Thanks for your replies.

I have the Advanced User Guide for v5 (AUG version 1.14, march 2002), and ive looked through it extensively for this and it does not have it.

It does have taking people straight to a product page...
But not anything for putting a product straight into the cart from any page other then the html page that it lies on.

As for the entitlement to the upgrade to v6, i think it was more than a month, more like 3 months.

Luckily i waited for director MX, before nearly purchasing director 8.5

        Any other thoughts?
        Cheers,
        Jay-Dee
