    RBS WorldPay Technical Changes

    Hi,

    Please can somebody confirm if the following technical change will affect Actinic?

    Thanks,
    Ian

    From: http://www.worldpay.com/support/content.php?page=news

    Otherwise there is only one 'technical' change that will affect some merchants only and this change will not take place until the 28th May 2009 - we will be in touch with all customers to confirm the date.

    If you capture payment/order data from ours using the HTML Notification (callback) service - typically used to update inventory systems or automate fulfillment processes - your technical resources need to check the following and potentially make a small change to your system before the 28th MAY in order to ensure that your service carries on working in the way it does now.

    NOTE: WorldPay does not have access to your systems so we cannot carry out this check for you.

    If you use the HTML Notification (callback) service your system accepts incoming communications from the WorldPay service. This in itself will not require any change when we introduce RBS WorldPay. However, if your system validates and accepts incoming communications from specified peer hostnames only, you must adjust your server to accept traffic from our new hostnames, in addition to those you already accept. We will use a range of new peer hostnames, all of which end with:

    '.outbound.wp3.rbsworldpay.com'.

    You need to configure your server to check for this situation. For example to check for '*.outbound.wp3.rbsworldpay.com' (only if the software you are using enables you to use wildcards).>

      You should not be effected by this, as your server will not be looking for specific hostnames/worldpay servers

      But i'll let actinic confirm this for definate

          Hello

          We received the following information from RBS WorldPay as a reply to our question regarding any changes to be made within Actinic :

          ...can confirm that the submission URLs are not changing :-
          ......We are not changing this as many older shopping cards and bespoke
          systems may have select.worldpay.com hardcoded and it would cause great
          trouble for our merchants.

          At this stage I don't believe select.rbsworldpay.com will be accepting
          transactions (as it is not currently) so I would suggest keeping the
          URL as it is and if this does change we will send out notifications
          well in advance.
          The only change we did need to make in the application was to rename the PSP in the relevant areas.
          Hope this helps clarify.

                  WorldPay changes - very important

                  Hi,

                  Hope we are talking about the same thing.....

                  When going through the WorldPay payment process transfer from our site to WorldPay, this works - but the first page on WorldPay should then forward you to the actual payment page.

                  This does not work.
                  Users have to manually click on the "continue" button.

                  WorldPay says this is because the url to them has now changed to
                  https://secure.wp3.rbsworldpay.com/wcc/purchase

                  This is part of their pointless rebranding exercise.

                  Can we change the WorldPay url in Actinic ourselves - running 7.0.4 ?
                  It appears to be hardcoded

                  Any ideas, as this will have an impact on usability & sales.

                  This is very important.
                  Thanks in advance.

                  - Just to add replicated the problem in Firefox and Safari, not sure about IE.
                  But WP said could be an issue for IE 8.

                    I spoke to Worldpay and this was out of their hands (not part of their rebranding) as the change is because IE8 and other new browsers will not allow cross-server scripting (i.e. using javascript in one domain to get data from another domain) as it is now deemed a security issue. This is how Worldpay have up to now transferred customers to their payment pages.

                    The required change is to the 'submission url', which looks to me like it is NETQUOTEVAR:OCC_URL in the template file Act_OCCWorldpayTemplate.html, but I would like someone to confirm this before I make a change....

                    According to Worldpay, current value is:
                    https: //select.worldpay.com/wcc/purchase
                    and it needs to be
                    https: //secure.wp3.rbsworldpay.com/wcc/purchase

                    Anyone from Actinic available to confirm?

                      Hi, I would also like clarification on this please. Do we need to change the WorldPay urls in Actinic, and how? I have version 6 and the url it goes to is the select.worldpay.com version. It also required the customer to press continue on the first payment page.

                          Hi

                          Cross checked this with development and they've confirmed that all that needs to be done is the following

                          1. Open in notepad OCCUpgrade.ini (usually within C:\Program Files\Actinic v..\OCCUpgrade)

                          Locate:ProviderName='WorldPay'
                          Change to: ProviderName='RBS WorldPay'
                          Increment the Version Number by 1 (you will find this at the top of the file), save changes and exit.

                          2. Open in notepad Act_OCCWorldpayTemplate.html (usually witin C:\Program Files\Actinic v..\OCCUpgrade\CommonOCC)

                          Locate: Click <B>Next</B> to go to WorldPay's secure server and process your credit card details with complete confidence.
                          Change to: Click <B>Next</B> to go to the RBS WorldPay secure server and process your credit card details with complete confidence.

                          save the changes, apply and upload the site.

                          Somthing similar should apply to the v6 users as well, also please make sure you have backups before making these changes.

                            Hello

                            I have added the letters RBS as directed in post 13 but my buyers are still having to click Continue on the inital Worldpay page to proceed. The initial page is NOT an RBS one, it's the old non-RBS one.

                            The Act_OCCWorldpayTemplate.html file in my v7.0.7.0.0.0.HCFA setup looks like this:

                            <!-- Template for WorldPay OCC HTML template -->
                            </FORM><!-- Terminate the parent template form -->
                            Click <B>Next</B> to go to RBS WorldPay's secure server and process your credit card details with complete confidence.

                            NETQUOTEDEL:TESTMODE
                            <P>
                            <BIG>This catalog is currently running in test mode. Your credit card will not be debited.</BIG>
                            NETQUOTEDEL:TESTMODE

                            <FORM NAME="formOCC" METHOD=POST ACTION="NETQUOTEVAR:OCC_URL">
                            NETQUOTEVAR:OCC_VALUES
                            <P>
                            <TABLE BORDER="0" CELLSPACING="0" CELLPADDING="0" WIDTH="600">
                            <TR><TD ALIGN=RIGHT>
                            <INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT NAME="SUBMIT" VALUE="Next&gt;">
                            </TD></TR>
                            </TABLE>
                            </FORM>
                            <FORM METHOD=POST ACTION="NETQUOTEVAR:OCC_URL"><!-- Create a bogus form to keep the parent template happy -->
                            <!-- End of template for WorldPay OCC -->

                            It's missing the submission url mentioned in post 10.

                            What amendments should I make to get this sorted? Where should the submission url be added and what form should it take? Any help is appreciated.

                            Many thanks

                              I have fixed this by editing the "Act_OCCWorldpayTemplate.html" file in the folder "My Documents\Actinic v9\Sites\Site1\CommonOCC"

                              The 2 entries for NETQUOTEVAR:OCC_URL were replaced with
                              Code:
                              https://secure.wp3.rbsworldpay.com/wcc/purchase
                              After uploading the site, the orders are now bounced straight through to the first Worldpay payment page.
