Email subject field

Is there a way to change the email subject field?

At the moment ours come out as:
Order JS72AG50000011 : Order Shipped Text Only Email
Order JS72AG50000011 : Payment Received Text Only Email
etc

Want o get ride of the "Text Only Email" part.

I wondered if i could rename in the Mange Layout within the custom email area but that option is greyed out.

Go to the mail tab on an order, click new, click manage layouts, & click rename.

I don't think rename is available on the default layouts, in which case, just copy one of the defaults & then rename.

Don't know if it's the official methods, but it works.
