What does the "Check or “Held” fraud status mean?

Sellerdeck Payments by Opayo and Sellerdeck Payments by NMI will be sunsetting on 31st May 2023. On the 1st of June, these payment gateways will no longer be available to process new transactions. We will maintain the service for an additional month to allow for refunds and downloading of reports.

Sellerdeck Payments by Opayo and Sellerdeck Payments by NMI are being replaced by SellerdeckPay powered by ClearAccept:

The Check or held fraud status is a notification from Datacash Fraud Protection Services (The 3rd Man) to say the transaction is high risk, this does not mean the payment has been stopped. The decision to commit the transaction or not is yours, but the advice on the pages linked to below may help you make that decision:

Please Note: In v10.0.3 onwards, "check" is used rather than "held" as it more accurately reflects the action needed.
