Will that new beta install be a fresh install or will it upgrade any work we have already done?

Worked fine for me. I see that this beta will expire on the 22nd of November. Wonder what's planned for then.

                  Hi all,

Our developers have been looking into this. It appears what is happening, is that if you reach the expiry period of the Beta, then you cannot continue to use the software.

                  If you have reached the expiry, below is what you need to do;

                  1) First, make a snapshot of your site/s (File | Snapshot | Export site).
                  2) Uninstall SellerDeck 2014 Beta.
                  3) Install the new SellerDeck 2014 Beta from our website, but on the "Select Sites Folder" window select a different location as sites folder.
                  4) Open SellerDeck once and then close it down. (You must open and close it once)
                  5) Browse to the new sites folder SellerDeck has created during the installation and delete it.
                  6) Copy the contents of the previous sites folder to the new sites folder which has been created.
                  7) Open SellerDeck 2014 and continue as normal.

It is important to follow the steps above carefully, or you may have experience difficulty.

                  Thanks

Downloaded the new version of SD2014, installed a client snapshot from SD, got recurring database warnings, SD crashed. this cycle repeated. Tried to uninstall SD2014 but got error cannot open INSTALL.LOG file. Deleted all 2014 folders tried to reinstall but said it was repairing and when got to licence page 'evaluate' was greyed out despite this being a new install on this PC with SD2014 downloaded today from the link above.

I thus have a version of 2014 that I cannot open and use and which I cannot uninstall.

OK - Downloaded Wise Uninstaller, and forced uninstalled SD2014.
Downloaded today's SD2014 and installed to all different folders.
On completing the install got this message:

On starting SD still greyed out 'evaluate' button.

                        Now what....?

I have tried to follow the instructions given above but still end up with a greyed out evaluate button.

I don't know how to create a snapshot (step 1) when you can't open the software so I have copied the site1 folder to another location.

I uninstalled Sellerdeck 2014 then reinstalled the new version changing the location of the sites folder. This leaves the evaluate button greyed out.

I uninstalled then manually deleted the sites folder (which the unistall leaves in place) and reinstalled with a different sites folder and the button is still greyed out.

                          Any other ideas?

                            Hi all,

I can see there are quite a few people experiencing issues with the transition to the new Beta.

At this time, I would suggest contacting SellerDeck support if you have not done so already, so that the team can help resolve the problem:

Different PC, today's version of SD2014
Imported SD client snapshot and same issues as above.
Everytime I start SD2014 it does the upgrade process again then crashes and send the dump files etc to West Byfleet.
