    Checkout Issues

Hello, I've seen a few threads relating to the same issue I'm having.

Upon clicking the final 'Confirm Order' buttom, the website then freezes and the button is replaced with 'Saving your Order'. The page then holds and orders are never submitted.

I've not made any changes recently, and this has occurred out of the blue.

Has anyone got some advise as to what it could be.

    Thanks

    Hi Adam,

    assuming this site is
    http://www.backstagewarehouse.co.uk ??

I am seeing a javascript error occuring in the background that is preventing the usual Sellerdeck "Submit order" javascript from executing.
    The error reads
    Code:
    TypeError: this._recipeManager is null
A quick Google reveals it may be a JQuery conflict issue.
    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=TypeError:+this._recipeManager+is+null

possibly from your Zopim chat code?

      Further Assistance

      Hello,

      Yes, its the www.backstagewarehouse.co.uk.

      Thanks for finding the error.

I've now taken off the Zopim chat, and tried to get the other chat removed but currently struggling to do so, but these have both been on the site for over a year without any problem.

The only recent action has been the renewal of hosting and sellerdeck payments.

All I can think of is that its not finding the link to the Sellerdeck payment page but I cannot find any information how this can be changed.

      Any Ideas?

      Thanks Adam

        Hi Adam,

        That's resolved the javascript error.
        I'm now seeing

        Code:
        Gateway Time-out

The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.
after hitting the button and after a period of time. It looks like there may be an issue with the communication with the Payment service provider?
It does not look to be a problem with the Sellerdeck scripts any more.

          Problem Resolved

The hosting company has recently changed the security settings which had affected the Perl script.

          Its all back in action.

          Many Thanks
