    Probs with checkout

Anyone ever come across the attached problems in the checkout phase - I've done countless refreshes but the values still appear and cause the chekcout to stop functioning.

Only ever the confirm email field and what should be the title for the delivery title. It's wierd.
Done a search on the community but haven't found anything yet.

    Thoughts?

    To go a little further:
If you ignore these oddities and still input the confirmation of email address the following error generates:

Programming Error: Parameters not defined (ValidatePreliminaryInfo)

    Thoughts?
    Cheers

Is your design library showing all checkout areas as standard or does it have some altered layouts. Make sure your scripts are from the latest version if recently upgraded, I've had a site with the scripts stuck in a time warp.

Thanks lee, it's wierd site has been live and working but since an update which didn't relate to the checkout (and timeout issues on uploading site) this problem has appeared and I can't seem to shift it.

If I have to change the checkout pages that will be a pain but maybe will have to.

        regards

Check the scripts Lee, i wonder if they have somehow reverted to not the current ones, copy the originals over. I had the same problem with Javascript files also being the wrong ones. I was figuring some sort of upgrade bug, but i've only had it once so far so don't yet know.

              Hi Bangers,

Did you ever resolve this issue? I've just been through exactly the same process and have exactly the same errors.

I've upgraded a working v9 site to v10 and I'm seeing the Delivery Address problem, _CONFIRM appearing in the email confirmation and Checkout Page 0 was validating whether the customer had agreed to the T&Cs.

I've circumvented the first problem (by hardcoding 'Delivery Address' into the page) and the T&Cs issue (by moving the T&Cs approval to this page), but I now have "Programming Error: Parameters not defined (ValidatePreliminaryInfo)" appearing exactly like you.

Stage site illustrating these problems here: http://test.evenlodestudio.com

If you came across a solution, I'd be grateful to know what it was.

              Many thanks,
              Simon

Ah! Solved it. As Lee hinted at, it looks like it's a weird upgrade problem with OrderScript.pl

By reverting to the version of OrderScript.pl which is in the 'Original' folder the errors go away. Looks as if the v10 upgrade doesn't actually upgrade OrderScript.pl if you've modified it.... or something.

Either way, replace the script and it solves the problem (or it has in my case anyway)
