    Google Mash for XML

    Hi Joanna,

The Google Mash for Actinic by Mole-end Software is very easy to use and you can try it out for 30 days for free. I use it for a couple of sites. Have you registered an account with "Google Base" first ?

Tell the software where your site folder is,and in the settings choose Google Base and then create the mash and upload.

Drop a quick note to Mole End and you will find they are very helpful. T.

Not to deny Mole End business, but you can also create an xml sitemap here: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

Save it and then ftp it to your root folder. Maybe rename it to something more memorable before you do this.

If you haven't already, create an account in Google Webmaster Tools, verify your site using the instructions given there, and add your new sitemap to the list in "Site Configuration".

I didnt bother with an xml sitemap.. and my actinic site gets googled perfectly.
As the above link shows.. there can be more problems caused by using them.
Actinic has its own sitemap anyway.
