    Unable to Access Epos

Today i ran a Kapersky anti virus scan.
Now I am unable to open EPOS, it says Account Expired - See System Superuser . I am the system superuser. How do i get back in? I have a shop full of customers!

Perhaps kaspersky has earmarked it as an untrusted application, check inside there for anything epos related.

Have tried to find this but it does not appear user friendly not at all clear how find appropriate files.

I am thinking of backing up the checkout database, then de-installing EPOS and reinstalling it, does anyone think this would be disastrous?

We've got exactly the same issue "Account Expired - See System Superuser" but run NOD32/ESET anti virus software.

Just waiting for support to 'open' this morning.....

Wouldn't it be good if EPOS support was available when my shop wasn't actually full of customers? (Full is a hopeful exaggeration). But you get my drift.

I posted about a 7 day support service some time ago for exactly the same reason.

Update: I've spoken to Actinic Support and it's an issue with the expiry date of the Epos User. My SuperUser login 'expired' on 23/10/2010 and once changed to 23/10/2015 all is now working fine.

              Unable to Access EPOS

              Hello

              Please find the solution underneath.

              > Start EPOS
              > Log in with the code 10981098
              > Close the initial (System Settings) window which opens.
              > Enter 'Users' and amend the expiry date.
              > Log off and then re-log in.

              Thanks

              Andy

I appreciate this is a very old post but I am now locked out of EPOS and get the "Account expired see system SuperUser" but the 10981098 log in code does not work

                - is there another way to gain access?
