    Hathaway Styles, Fine Jewellery

    Hi,

    We have just launched a fully customised Actinic v9 site;

    http://www.hathawaystyles.co.uk

The site is for Jewellery Quarter based jewellers Hathaway Styles.

We created a bespoke design that complemented the style of business without detracting attention from the rings. The design and functionality have also been fully tested across a range of different browsers ensuring accessibility for all users.

We used Actinic Payments which will soon be customised to match the overall site design.

We worked hard on this site and are very proud to see it go live. Each page on the website contains unique imagery and information, optimised for both search engines and readability.

For Quality UK Jewellery manufactured in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham visit www.hathawaystyles.co.uk

If you are interested in speaking to us about webdesign visit http://www.stylescreative.com

    Thanks for looking.

      CI Marking Solutions

This is a brochure site built using the reflective theme from V9 with some customisation using javascripts from Dynamic Drive that have been integrated into Actinic. Site was built in just a few hours showing how easy it can be to use actinic.

The site www.ci-markingsolutions.co.uk is a work in progress rather than the finished article.

              I finally submit www.skateasylum.co.uk

Extensive weird and wonderful mods, from:
              - Bypassing the cgi-bin links, for seo
              - an online database, synced daily
              - custom written ajax search (give it a shot!)
              - locally stored, custom written reviews/star rating system
              - is generally awesome fast, and optimised.

                You'd Never Guess it's Actinic!

We wanted our site to be exquisitely beautiful and not to look like it was built in Actinic. We have customized and built our own templates, but it is still Actinic!

I am really pleased with this site http://www.spellfame.co.uk/kart-spares-online.html which I optimised. It uses Actinic 8.53.

Every page has a unique Title and Meta Description which is automatically picked up from the product name.
                    i.e

<title>Kart Side Pod Bars | Kart Spares | Karting Shop | Rotax TKM Kosmic Tonykart Karts | Online Kart Shop for Comer JKH OTK Venom WTP Spellfame Karting Ltd Kart Side Pod Bars</title>

<meta name="description" content="Kart Side Pod Bars from Spellfame online Kart Shop for all your karting spares and everything for your karts. Kart spares and parts for TKM, Rotax, Tonykart and Kosmic karts especially Kart Side Pod Bars . Friendly race team and kart training, kart preparation. Great prices with free postage. Get your Kart Side Pod Bars at Whilton Mill, Shennington, Rissington and Kimbolton. Free karting advice. " />

This is for the product 'Kart Side Pod Bars' If you look at any other products you will see that each has a unique Title and Description generated from just the product name, you don't have to write a specific Title or Description or just stick to the Generic Title and Description. As the Title and the Meta Description ranks very high in getting a good listing in Google this is really good.

These changes meant this site moved up from quite low positions right up to the 1st page for many, many items - even rating above the manufactorers web site for engine spares. Type in 'TKM spares' without the quote and this site is number one above TKM.

I did this be re-writing some code in the page layouts (templates) as this is not an option within Actinic.

If anyone would like any help with this please contact me.

                      http://www.capturethemagic.biz
                      Uses a jQuery image slider.

                            http://www.meechs.co.uk/

Designed over a month ago with a go live by the owner last week. Direct Actinic replacement for an existing open source cart with the Actinic upselling functionality integrated.

                            * In keeping with the intention of this v9 Showcase thread please do not post any critique.
