    Error when uploading catalog

Having set up my Verio hosted Actinic site ok, I had to then reinstall Actinic on my PC due to a Windows crash.

I now get "A server error occurred while attempting to merge server files. 403 - Forbidden ( The ISA Server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). )"

I've checked our ISA firewall logs and can see nothing that looks amiss. The site actually works fine and reflects any changes I make but I cannot download any orders as the Order Download button is disabled.

Any thoughts. I've followed the advice of deleting fil files and refreshing but I still have the same problem.
    Many thanks
    Mike

One thing that can cause this is if you have got SSL set to 'On' in 'Business Settings | Payment and Security', but do not have an SSL server to upload to.

My reason for saying this is that Actinic uploads via FTP until the 'merge' bit where it contacts the Perl files via an http call. If it thinks the cgi-bin is only available via https this could cause problems.

The other thing to try is a settings test ('Test' button in 'Advanced | Network Setup') as this can sometimes provide more meaningful information with problems you are encountering.

    Hope these help

It wasn't an SSL issue, but the clue "Actinic uploads via FTP until the 'merge' bit where it contacts the Perl files via an http call." enables to trace the problem to the web proxy server.
      Many thanks.
