Jan i really missed it, i was probably doing minimum of 10 cups aday and they were getting stronger.

I became ill and thought it was that and gave it up on the spot, turned out to be something else but it was not easy to do though, i do still have the od coffee, normally if im out for a meal or something similar. I took a while and i suffered headaches and all sorts but i had been drinking only coffee for about 20 years

I quit coffee some years ago and mostly drink water now (with the very occasional decaff tea).
The problem is when I *do* drink coffee now, it has ten times the effect it used to!
quitting is hard...there should be rehab for caffeine giving up!

and, to get back on topic, I just had a look at a demo of Actinet and it does look really really good.
Not being able to edit though, it's difficult to see how the product maintenance interface works.
The component viewer looks great...are the components/attributes etc editable?

LOVING the duplicate locater! It's almost worth buying for that alone!

Cheer up George, I think that you have cover, which means you can collect a free copy of my duplicates update tool from Actinic, might resolve the problems you are having, if they are duplicate related.

Here, here, i think most of us miss the old George, the new v8 model is not a patch on the v7 one. This is one instance where a downgrade to a previous version is something i would like to see.

frustratingly, he's right.

some features i'm adding to Actinet i wonder why they arent in Actinic. But with the very nature of this server/client lark, I can take advantage of a lot of cool browser things, that a standard interface would take a long time to realise.

For example, it took me 5 minutes to write a 'extract emails for a mailshot to csv' plugin.

and it can be sent to a customer and installed in another 10.

15 mins from idea to end solution?
