            Some of the comments in the .pl scripts are fantastic ... you can hear the programmer having a conversation with themselves

              For heavens sake - we only just had the longest day and people are talking about Easter Eggs already - Jont you must be the sort of person who has already written out their Christmas Cards

                I worked with someone at an old company who would put expletives in their Perl scripts comments such as "workaround for ****** server settings" lol it made for amusing reading.
                Talking of which, does Actinic still have the 'obscure' phrases they used to test for netnanny (or whatever it was called). I remember it definitely had me confused the first time I ran a test.

                (trying desperately hard to remember stuff that was more than a week ago).

                OK. 'netnanny' = 'cybersitter'. Close enough.

                    Then there's:
                    # Do some garbage collection before anything else
                    from Session.pm

                      And another very knowledgeable statement from ActinicOrder.pm:
                      # 100% of nothing is nothing

                        #
                        my $bCyberSitter = $GOOD;
                        #
                        # The following line contains text that would usually be detected by network filters
                        # The use of 'bad language' is necessary here to trigger the filter
                        #
                        my $nSum = unpack('%32C*', "sexy f*ck");
                        if ($nSum != 914)
                        {
                        $bCyberSitter = $BAD;
                        $sMessage .= "It appears as if CyberSitter or some other network filter is mangling the CGI scripts.\r\n";
                        }

                          I like the ones that mention CBARLING by name ... the programmer covering their tracks shifting possible blame onto Mr Actinic himself
