    Chromebooks

I’m looking at getting a small Chromebook for use whilst out of the country.

I don’t know a lot about them, but assume Sellerdeck doesn’t run on them?

I am intending to leave our main pc on and log in using something like TeamViewer.

Before I waste any money, can anyone see any issues with this, or advise of any model, size etc that would be better?

    Regards

SellerDeck definitely won't run on a Chromebook.

Chromebooks can also run VNC Viewer from RealVNC to allow remote access to back home. You will need to know your IP address to access it from outside and make a port forwarding setting in your router to allow it through to the appropriate machine. And use good security.

Get as big a screen as possible to avoid frustration.

Also consider a second-hand Laptop (e.g. from Gumtree) as a budget alternative that would be SD capable or could run TeamViewer / VNC.

      Many thanks Norman.

the wife fancies a Chromebook, but we have plenty of old laptops knocking around so this would be my preferred option.

You can install NeverWare CloudReady on an old laptop to get a trial of a ChromeOS clone.
