    PC recommendation

Looking for advice on reliability really, had a good AMD based win 10 with ssd that lasted well, died November 21.
Replaced with a win 10 intel i5 that has been much more troublesome, it has regular 100% disc usage issues that I cannot resolve.
Any makes / specifications and models recommended please?

We had similar issues, finally gave in and took it to repair shop this week week (yes amazingly they were open on Wednesday). He put in a new 1TB SSD and it's great. Total cost including labour and VAT £250. No issues with data as he cloned everything. It took him half a day. We are happy we didn't go and spend another £1k on a whole new PC.
So to answer your question, if you have a friendly, trustworthy computer shop nearby (indy, not a chain), then that is what I suggest.

Interesting, I am not sure how much longer I can keep going with desktop, not simple like it used to be. Setting up a new machine is daunting now where it used to be install sd and email and an hour later working!
