  • Fatal Errors when importing a snapshot into a site with an SQL database

If you get fatal errors at the end of importing a snapshot that uses an SQL database, similar to these:

The action has aborted because fatal errors were detected. Please contact your SellerDeck reseller or SellerDeck Support as appropriate for advice.

    There are 2 Fatal errors
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    FATAL ERRORS
(File ExportSite.cpp, Line 2707) - Unable to restore catalog database - fatal error.
    Reported error was:

Invalid object name 'SQL_Site1_Catalog.sys.database_files'.Statement(s) could not be prepared.
(File ExportSite.cpp, Line 2712) - Unable to restore shipping database - fatal error.
    Reported error was:

Invalid object name 'SQL_Site1_Shipping.sys.database_files'.Statement(s) could not be prepared.

It is most likely because the version of SQL Server used to create the snapshot is different than what you have setup in SellerDeck.

Make sure that the SQL Server details entered in ‘File | Sites | Database Setup’ match what the site is configured for:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once these match, you will be able to successfully import the snapshot.
