If I tick the box to transfer the "Product Full description" I get the error "Could not establish connection to server"
This can be caused by illegal character codes in the full description field within SellerDeck which breaks the EPOS Link product transfer. Illegal characters can sometimes get into this field if you have copied and pasted the text from a program such as 'Word'. To fix this you need to:
find problematic products one by one
* start a Product transfer to EPOS in the SellerDeck Ecommerce software
* the progress dialogue comes up listing all the products one by one
* when the error message dialog pops up, the progress dialogue window should stop on the name of the product that has illegal character(s) in its description
* locate the product in the software
* check the 'Full description' field - illegal characters, which need to be removed, are displayed as bold vertical lines
* apply the changes
* repeat the above until all illegal characters are removed from the description fields.
