Login link goes sraight to top level section page

Inherited v2013 site.
Never had customer accounts before now want to set them up.
Created one test account and uploaded and clicked the 'logn'link and went straight to the top level section page.

Link is

Have purged and refreshed to put clean scripts and no avail.

Login Inner and Outer layouts specified correctly in Design Themes ... Advanced Page Configuration

Login Inner and Outer Layouts in Library reset to factory settings

Has anyone any suggestions as to where I should look t resolve this please?

It seems one needed to tick 'Allow orders from customer accounts' in Business settings, ordering.
