Two Erros since last shutdown

Cannot open the shipping and handling database. Make sure that ‘actinicsimpleshipping10’ is set up as a valid ODBC source.

I get the above error message, but then teh only option i have is to close the programme so i cant check anything.

Is anyone able to help??

hi and thanks for your response. ive tried this twice now - but it still wont open.

there was already the files in place so i replaced it when given the option.

i still have the same error appear

ive tried this agsain and again, it comes up with 'the datasource named 'ActinicSimpleShipping10' already exists - replace it with this definition.

in selecting yes - but it still wont work.

Lorna - I think the best thing is to contact support directly for this.
It's not a common issue and it seems you have tried the posted solutions.

Hi Lorna,

I go along with Duncan's reply. It sounds like you've tried the most likely fix without success so a talk to actinic support seems like the best approach. Especially as you can't get actinic to start up.

Actinic support ought to be able to get this working for you.

I'd uninstall actinic and then reinstall with an import of your latest snapshot in the meantime.

Did support find a solution

as I have now got the same problem in 14 where i cant open sellerdeck.

ActinicSimpleShipping14 is no a valid ODNC source.

I have excluded the folder sellerdeck 14 in antivirus and tried restart with new source of database but alas Nothing.

is uninstaling really the ONLY option???
