bug: unescapable diaglg box.

when i create a 'block if', and click 'insert a variable', typing a squacket* in the search box, causes an infinite loop with a useless dialog box.

WARNING: locks actinic, you'll ahve to ctrl+alt+delete out of it.

special note: yes, i know that there arent any vars with that name, but it was typed accidentally the first time and i lost my edits.
