    Receipt Email

    Under business settings you have the facility to get receipt email copies from Actinic Catalog

    I have entered my mobile phone email address in here hoping to get a copy of the notification of orders that comes to the web site also on my phone email.

    this does not appear to work although I still get the normal order confirmation at my web site.

    Am I doing something wrong or missing something

    The recepit is only generated IF your customers choose to return to your site after their credit card is charged.

    If they leave at this point without going back to your site no receipt is sent.

    OR: you may have a problem with SMTP persmission etc etc on your hosted server...

      I understand what you say but

      The normal confirmation works 100% of the time regardless of weather the customer goes through worldpay or not, as long as they confirm the order I get a confirmation from my server that a order has been placed.

      If I put the phone email adress in the businness settings page then I still get the normal confirmation but nothing via the phone.

      I would have thought that the actinic software would use the same information and procedures to send both messages so how could it be smtp related

        Sorry -- misunderstood the question.

        Try setting the email address to a hotmail account and see what happens
