Hide General Info Prompt in Checkout for Specific Products

Hi All,

I have converted the General Info Prompt 1 to a checkbox so that customers can request a Certificate of Conformity when checking out, however I do have some products where a CofC is not available. I have a variable set up as true/false and was hoping I could use this in a block to wrap round the general info prompt to hide it when a products is in the basket that does not have one available, after trying I realize that this will not work. Has anyone got an idea of how I can achieve this please?

Norman came up with this clever solution of adding a prefix to the product reference that you can test for with JavaScript during checkout. You should be able to do something similar.
