    Hi Jane

There hasn't been a change in this area in v8, so the answer is still no. You could always install the whole thing into the D drive if you want.

I install all my actinic sites on to D drive (it makes daily backup routines much simpler). I simply back up all of D, and a few configuration files from C.

Different install and site folders is an option in Muli User versions of Actinic. This also exists in v7 MU.

Hi there, I haven't tested v8, long time user of v7 and the v8 thread scare me a bit . However I am working with someone, a developer on Actinic v7 to move the site folder on another drive. We have got a working copy, but it needs to be fully tested. A question to Actinic, Is there much change from between the v7 registry and v8? The reason is that, we could have a plugin for Catalog customer to relocate their site folder.... (hopefully - fingers crossed ).

There were a major reorganisation of the registry settings in later v7 versions to support Actinic MU (transfer settings between HKCU and HKLM). If your plugin is based such a v7 version then you shouldn't expect huge changes except a few additional branches.
