    WorldPay Upgrade

    Hello,

On Saturday WorldPay updated it's customer interface.

Since then none of our transactions have called back to our website so all our orders are in the psp pending tab, even if authorised.

WorldPay support have admitted that there is a problem and are working on a fix.

Just what we all needed on the busiest weekend of the year.

    Regards, Robert

Unbelievable. Sorry to hear you've had such a nightmare Robert. Hope it gets sorted soon.

      Hi Chris,

Apparently it's fatal and WorldPay are going to contact Actinic directly about a possible fix!

Anyone else for a new PSP in 2008!

      Regards, Robert

Our website that uses WP was fine over the weekend..

we had a few tranactions where the customer had to try a few times but overall WP seems Ok

          Hi All

This has had a huge impact on us, EVERY order has a callback failure, large number of customers have WP site crashing/hanging , WP support say they are working with Actinic support to identify and fix problems. Unwilling to give any timescales as "we've just gone through a major upgrade"!!! I remained as calm as I could at that point!

Robert says his customer interface has changed - mine looks the same as before - what has changed at WP?

are they really that stupid to make major changes in the busiest 2 weeks of the year?

                Hi Jo,

When you log in to your account there is a new interface which will take me until Easter to fathom out.

Yes, they do appear to be that stupid

how do you know your interface has changed? mine seems the same..

i've just checked our surfwax site and whilst there have been a few customers who had to try multiple times, most call backs are fine.

we also have paypal as a 2nd payment method and this is still running at the same percent level of transactions ie 10% ish.

i'm wondering if they have upgraded some people and not others?

As far as we were aware, the 'script changes' mentioned in that thread were just to address a change to the test requirements for Worldpay. We haven't been told anything else about a change to the interface that might affect the callbacks to the website.

Although that's of no consolation to you, I appreciate.

WP have told me they have added an extra bit to the info sent back, this is to make it "the correct format"

This is the technical info of what they have done:

                          http://www.worldpay.com/support/upgr...ummary2007.pdf

                          The important bit being:

                          New Callback (Payment Response) parameters
The following new parameters will be included in Callback (Payment Response) responses:
charenc the value of the charset parameter in the Content-Type header.
_SP.charEnc the value of the charset parameter in the Content-Type header.
ipAddress if an IP address is included in the order details submission it will be returned in this parameter, in the case of FuturePay Payment Responses this parameter is returned with no value.

I'm also having WorldPay problems - their response...

I have also had every callback failing since my WorldPay account was upgraded, and have had to manually check and process these orders. Also, many more customers seem to be receiving delays and errors at the payment pages.

On Saturday I called the number WorldPay supplied on their customer support line for "loss of payment functionality". I was told that the issue would "probably be resolved on Monday".

I received a message from WorldPay today indicating:

"I have been advised by my colleagues in our technical support team that the situation regarding integration with Actinic Business has been resolved. If you have any other queries, I would suggest that you speak directly with Actinic."

The issue certainly hasn't been resolved as the callbacks are still failing. So is this an Actinic or WorldPay issue...?

                              Hi Everyone,

The latest we have heard from Worldpay is that the update should not have impacted the Actinic Interface. We are awaiting further updates and will let you know once we have a final confirmation from their end.

I you would like us to check this with WorldPay for you could you drop me your WorldPay Account ID at bksupport [ @ ] actinic.co.uk .

                              Kind regards,
