    Can we have dialog boxes flexible with scroll bars please. At present in v10beta they are too large for netbooks on 1024 x 600.

    This makes actinic unworkable on the average netbook, I am sure there are shop owners who take a netbook on the road/holiday etcetc

      Another vote from me. There are so many dialogue boxes with restrictive sizes. Well worth going through the lot and adding some flexibility.

      To be fair to Actinic, Windows is worse! There are many inflexible boxes rooted back in the 640 x 480 epoch still lurking there.

      I gave up and switched to an 11.5" super-netbook as you get 1366 x 768 res. and those extra 168 vertical pixels make a huge difference.

        +1 for me too, do it in its entirety though or not at all. New features never cater for everyone, usability caters for everybody.

            We have made a start in v10 by making some of the more cramped dialog boxes resizable - and having the new size remembered. I hope we can continue this process in v11, and the Business Settings dialog will be high on the list.

              Holy thread resurrection Batman! Assuming I've read this correctly, has this been fixed/is there a workaround?

              Upgraded to v11 and with all the google variables on the product details screen, the entry box is all bunched up with scroll bars - yet there's enough blank space above this for it to be larger and hopefully lose the scroll bars. Hope I haven't misunderstood Cheers - Helen

                We provided some more resizing of dialogs in v10 and v11, but the entry box for the Google variables was not enlarged.

                Unfortunately it's not a simple as you might think, but we're trying to add a bit more flexibility into each major release.

                  Is this what you're talking about?

                  Hi there,

                  I have v11.0.3 and I seem to have the same problem, but to be sure, I have attached a photo of the Discounts Surcharges and Coupons Settings dialog box.

                  Either way, I cannot use it.

                  If anyone can advise me of a trick or workaround then I'd be happy to hear it.

                    That doesn't look like the problem being discussed. My V11.0.3 discounts window shows the full data entry screen.

                      Screen settings?

                      Okay then I have a new issue.

                      Can anyone suggest a fix for this? Could it be my screen settings (though I have played, with no success)?

                        I don't know the solution but you might be best creating a new thread in the V11 section as it's more relevant than this one in the wish list section.
