Discounts not shown for best sellers

I've found what might be a bug - unless I've failed to spot something that can be set up.

If you log in as a customer who is entitled to a discount, the prices shown for best sellers are unchanged. So if you happen to be on the catalogue page where one of the best sellers is located, you can see the same product twice on the same page, with different prices.

Can anyone else confirm this, and has anyone found a workaround? I trawled the KN, AUG, and this forum but found no mention.

    Hi Nick

yes I can see what you are talking about, not sure if this is a bug or working as designed, simply because the best sellers list uses a different price layout when compared to the actual product layout. I'll run this past development and get back to you when I hear from them.

Probably a layout tweak then - hopefully that's all & no need to wait for a code fix......

        Hi

I'm afraid development have come back saying this is a bug and I dont have workarounds or a fix.

That's a pity. Maybe while they're looking at it they might like to look at these too.....

          Possible bug B

          1. Define a best seller list manually, not using auto-generate.
          2. Run the list - so far so good.
          3. Change the price of one of the items in the list & load again.
          4. Check if the price of the best seller list entry has changed - it didn't for me.

          Possible bug C

          1. Define some products whose reference numbers are subsets of other reference numbers - eg suppose you have codes 1234567 and 123456T where you might have been using the code with the "T" suffix as a trade price prior to the use of customer accounts.
          2. Define a best seller list including the "1234567" reference product.
          3. Scratch head wondering why the best seller list shows the price of the "1234567T" product.

Would be nice to get this in a maintenance release of V10.

There would seem to be some general flakiness with best seller lists.
