    Bug fixes

Good to see some of those bug fixes will be in the next release especially:
AC11-2012 Windows 7 crashes with unusual monitors
AC11-2137 Database error when moving products- that one was nasty.
AC11-2490 Database compaction failing on exit- will save me loads of extra messing around.
    Well done.
About rebranding, my comment is "A rose by any other name..." I can see the logic though.

I have a feeling the answer will probably be "as long as it takes"...how many new gremlins will rear their ugly little heads.

Can't say for sure, but we've already done some pretty extensive testing. Probably a couple of weeks, give or take a week or so.

            11.03 beta upgrade test.

If my upgrade experience is anything to go by it seems bug-free (or as bug free as complex software can realistally be). Here's hoping the 11.03 continues to be a smooth ride. Next step is trying a live test site this evening. Fingers crossed.

              Loading website to test server.

Apart from messing up the network settings last night (note to self-dont do network setup when tired!) publishing to my Apache localhost was painless.
So far so good, 11.03 seems bug free.
Not a repeat of my experiences going from v10 to v11.
No missing images, nothing seems to have got messed up or corrupted.
No crashes when I switch to and from the new orders tab.
Moving sections or products by either drag & drop or cut & paste no longer causes products to dissapear and leave database errors.

Now to try and break it!

                Synchronisation

If a customer abandons an order (or hasn't completed an order) before the next synchronisation, the "One or more orders did not have their Payment Service Provider, etc" dialogur pops up. This seems to halt the synchronisation process until the 'OK' button is pressed.

If this happens at 1800 on Friday, none of the customer accounts or order downloads will happen (in our case) until Monday morning.

We reported this as an issue in 11.0 and I'm a little sad that this doesn't seem to be fixed in 11.03.

Would anyone know of a workaround?

                Many thanks

Unfortunately I don't know a workaround for this. It's on my radar to fix, but I haven't managed to prioritise it yet, sorry.

                    Bug?

                    getsatisfaction is down.

I'm using v1103 on W7 64 home premium on a laptop. I start SD and walk away, if I get sidetracked and the laptop goes to sleep, when I come back SD is no longer running. Thought I was going mad, but it's happened several times now.

                      Morning Jonathan

Get Satisfaction is working now, probably an odd outage last evening. The link to post a new topic is here.
Meanwhile I have tested your scenario using v1103 (both Business Plus and Enterprise) on my 64-bit PC, and not able to replicate.
Could you tell me which version of v1103 you are using, i.e, Enterprise, etc? Has this happened with an earlier version such as v1102 on the same machine as well?

                      Regards

It's business plus, running in test mode, the site has not been uploaded, so stock is not syncronising although it is enabled in business settings. It happens when my laptop goes to sleep and I wake it up again. Just happened agan now.

Difficult to tell, it's turned itself off again

30 minutes - assume that's default. Is that's what's doing it? I've never installed with MU selected before, must've clicked something when installing - sorry to trouble you.

Yes, that's the default. It's part of the added security in the multi-user version - it shuts down the software on workstations that are left unattended , after 30 minutes by default. Just increase the setting to whatever you want.
