    problem with stock levels

i have a problem with some dodgy stock levels

basically the stock levels just change themself

    see below link

    http://www.3000rpm.com/acatalog/Aone...s-25-Pack.html

i set the stock to 0 as i had oversold by a couple and was wondering why stock was wrong in first place

next day sold another couple even though stock was changed day before, i checked and stock again was on 2

this is happening randomly with different products but hard to pin down which ones as have so many

any ideas on what would cause this?

Ditto - same thing recently happened to us.

Recently took a job lot of stock - booked it all in (and the record shows the correct amount has been booked in on EPOS), but randomly it's added extra to some records... so we've oversold on a few products before we had chance to investigate and reset the affected levels.

Do you use EPOS link - I'm wondering if this is the cause of most of our woes. Can barely use Actinic at all some days with it switched on, and there's no pattern as to what causes this either. Been trying to pin it down for 5 years and we're no closer to a solution, except to turn link off on the "bad" days so we can get some work done.

      These could be different problems.

I wonder if the first one might be down to 'when' the stock level was manually adjusted. If stock is allocated to an order that can't be fulfilled, then when the order is cancelled sellerdeck will make the stock available again. So you have to cancel any existing orders for the product (including any psps pending orders if stock is allocated to psp pending orders) before adjusting the stock levels. Otherwise sellerdeck will just make the stock it allocated to these orders available again.

        Hi,

Please can you tell me what version of EPOS and EPOS Link you are currently using?

        Thanks
