    SellerDeck Slow and Orders in PSP Pending

    Hi guys, don't know if any of you have the same problems,

    Firstly, I came onto my sellerdeck software this morning and it's running really slow, every time I click apply on and item when I have updated the amount of stock I have left it seems to lag really bad.

    secondly,

    When I receive an order which has been paid for, it now goes to PSP pending instead of complete, and the email says - Payment Status - PSP Pending?

    Any ideas on how to fix?

    Thanks in advance.

    I sounds a bit like two different problems. In these circumstances I would:

    1. Backup the database
    2. Compact the database
    3. run a full virus scan on the pc.
    4. Make sure all external images, scripts, etc are blocked in preview with a blockif.
    5. do a full site refresh.
    6. Look for any error warnings in the error.err file
    7. check for .occ files on the website as these are what tells actinic a payment has been made.
    8. Make a note of any warnings that occur during order downloads
    9. Check psp payments and any warnings the psp might be showing.

    If the problems still persist then more details would help to track it down.

      If you have recently added any scripts or code such as AddThis / bookmark tools / social media code / SSL icons etc then it can make the software run slow when editing, the fix is here: http://community.sellerdeck.com/showthread.php?t=45299

            Which PSP are you using? Have you been in contact with them?

              I'm using Nochex & Paypal, I know it's definitely not them as they both stopped working at the same time, is there any way I can take out "Payment Status" out of the email's that are generated?

              As at the moment on all emails for orders show - Payment Status - PSP Pending.

                That would require a change to one of the perl files. Far easier to sort your site out I'd have thought. What else did you change before the PSP Pending issue appeared?

                  The only thing I did, was wipe my computer and put windows 8 on, but I did a snapshot before I wiped my computer, then put the snapshot back onto the new computer.

                      Are you sure you downloaded exactly the same version of Sellerdeck as the one on the old PC? This is absolutely critical.

                      I don't know how to change the perl files. You need to talk to Support or hope that someone with expert knowledge on the Community takes pity on you.

                      Also, where the feck is that facepalm image when you need it

                          Downloaded exactly the same software and imported the snapshot back in.

                            You have a huge number of these errors in your error file going back to 13th June:

                            Program = ORDERSCR, Program version = 28588 , HTTP Server = Apache/2.2.24 (Unix) mod_ssl/2, Return code = 999 , Date and Time = 2013/06/24 16:00, Internal Errors = Read error
                            Program = ORDERSCR, Program version = 28588 , HTTP Server = Apache/2.2.24 (Unix) mod_ssl/2, Return code = 999 , Date and Time = 2013/06/24 16:00, Internal Errors = Deferred email missing
                            It looks like SSL is involved so the first thing I'd do is turn off SSL and try to get everything working without it first.

                            PS. I tried to visit your site using https and got a certificate error. Related?
