Extension suggestion

Some online stores are now able to integrate with Mailchimp. Would it ever be possible for an extension to be created which would allow Sellerdeck to connect too? Of is that something that can only happen if your store is in the Cloud?

Hooking into the mailchimp API looks like it just needs some json posts from the webpage.

If you wanted the features such as the abandoned cart emails to work automatically from the website then the only complication I can see is the need for some form of pixel tracking to identify the customer and a script with an online database to identify the relevant customer ID.

You would also need a database entry in sellerdeck to hold a unique customer ID for each customer and some way of then associating the primary contact details with that customer ID so that email address changes (for example) can be updated without losing track of the customer history.

So nothing too major and something that I'd say Sellerdeck could implement with a bit of development effort.

It looks like quite a nice system. Have you managed to get any idea from mailchimp of the price for the 'Paid Features'?

I link to mailchimp from my website, if someone takes out a trial here www.1stoporders.com, they are added to a list in mailchimp which triggers automation to have a set of emails sent out over time.

I also have a signup form on my website.

What did you want to do with mailchimp?

I haven't asked tbh - but we already subscribe for their bulk email sending and that costs about £20 a month.

Hi, what do you use to automate feeding from your sites, Sellerdeck sales into Mailchimp? (customer name, email, products purchased, privacy/signup check, order date, other dates) I am not talking Mailchimp signup forms, we have those already but the actual purchase transactions through your sites. Do you just export mailing lists from SellerDeck or have any of you actually connected Sellerdeck sites to Mailchimp? If so how?

Hi are you able to get full Mailchimp API functionality working with sellerdeck ?

Mailchimp seems to connect to hundreds of systems but of course not sellerdeck. We have the basic signup form, but it can do so much more. https://mailchimp.com/help/integrations/
