    v9.0.3 Public Beta

    We are pleased to announce that Actinic v9.0.3 public beta is now available.

    v9.0.3 is a substantial interim release containing over 90 bug fixes, performance enhancements and new features.

    I would encourage all beta participants to download and follow the v9.0.3 user test guide (58KB PDF).

    Please report any problems with this release to: v9.beta@actinic.co.uk

    NB. This software is of test quality only and should not be used on a live production site. Actinic cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage which may result from such use. If during the testing period any problems are found, a new version will be issued as soon as possible.

      Yes there are a couple of minor tweaks, while there is nothing major it would be worth downloading.

          Ben is there no way to upgrade only one site to the Beta? I don't want to affect my live site, only the one I'm building now...

                Not sure if this is a bug or my machine.

                Using the standard example site within V9 I get "Act Product Entry" error upon start up and then the software crashes.

                In the rare instance that the software does work I then get this error and a crash when changing sites.

                I am running XP SP1

                    Hi Guys...

                    I ran the V9.0.3 update. We use Business+with a 2 user license. After running the update on both machines, on the satelite machine i get the following error message;

                    "You cannot connect to your local machine with this license!"

                    This is odd because it's looking for the sites directory on a the other machine.

                    Any suggestions?

                      Hi... as an update to my above post... I created a network drive and linked to that (as opposed to just browsing across the network) and that seemed to fool the satelite machine into thinking the site wasn't local.... so works for now!

                          Yeah it was connecting ok, but wen we try to print invoices off the machine just hangs. It also seems to crash out fairly frequently too. Any suggestions?

                              Will 9.0.3 work with EPOS 3.06? with regard to stock control.....etc Don't want to make the same mistake again
