    Tracking No. in Shipping Email

Is there any way to include a variable in the shipping email that contains the tracking number for an order?

I note that the variable TrackNumber is listed in the Variable Reference Guide (under Emails > Offline), as a variable with Place of Setting: Order | Shipping and Handling. This would be ideal and I have tried inserting <actinic:variable name="TrackNumber" />, but it does not work. (I guess this only works with UPS in the USA?)

Any ideas or alternatives would be welcome, especially if related to City Link?

Thanks Kiran, that provides some fod for thought, but strictly a solution.

It seems odd that on the Shipping & Handling tab of an Order, one can add a "N/A" shipping provider and then enter a cost and a tracking no., but that there is no way to use this information unless (presumably) one is using UPS in the US.

It looks like it's going to be a case of copying & pasting the tracking number into the shipping email before it is sent.

Tim, if you click 'edit' on your original post, you can correct the original without the need for another post. Most of us do it all the time once we spot spelling mistakes when reading.
