Single Product per page

Trying to understand the complexity of the new spp with V11 and duplicate products.

Taking the vanilla site that comes in the box. Lets say that the camera that comes in the first section we want to duplicate in a manufacturers section and also in a 35mm compact section. How does this work with the SPP. This appear to be greyed out in the duplicates section. So I am assuming that only one page is generated, but that it does not sit under the breadcrumb trail of the various sections, but goes back to the master section of camera, where the original product lies.

So if a customer was in 35mm compact area and drilled down to the spp they could then be confused because they would bounce back up to a different section of just cameras. In that case should pages with duplicate SPP pages not allow drilldown.

Just wondering if anyone has worked out a good way of implementing this or if there are any tips.

A 'back' button or press of 'back' on the browser will take them back to where they came from, all duplicates should take you to a master page in a master location ideally, i guess the breadcrumb trail is your main issue.

Thanks Lee, missed the fact that this Back is different from the v10 breadcrumb scenario. The situation in the Actinic product tree is not quite being reproduced in the uploaded version. On further playing it looks like you can vary the appearance of the product duplicates as well.

So if you choose standard layout using css as the product layout in the duplicate (rather than product summary)then the full information is displayed with no hyperlink to the single product page.

Looks like you have to be careful about where you put original products and where you keep duplicates and best not to mix them up on a page if you want consistent product lyouts on a page.
