    Installing the dashboard gives an SQl error

    I get this error after installing the dashboard:

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[IMSSP]: This extension requires either the Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client, the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Native Client or the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Native Client to communicate with SQL Server. Did you try what it says?

      Hi thanks for the reply. Yes I went to that link but what comes up is totally baffling and not obvious what you are supposed to do.

      I got the answer from Sellerdeck, they say go to this link:

      "MICROSOFT SQL SERVER CONNECTIVITY FEATURE PACK COMPONENTS"
      https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=29065

      But again, a little baffling what you are suposed to do. They then say look at these links below and once those are clicked on the thing I needed was installed successfully.

      You'll need to pick "X86 Package (sqlncli.msi)" if running windows 32bit OR "X64 Package (sqlncli.msi)" If the client is running windows 64bit. or you can use the links below.

      [X64 Package (sqlncli.msi)| http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?Link...8&clcid=0x409]
      [X86 Package (sqlncli.msi)| http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?Link...7&clcid=0x409]

      I have suggested that the error is a little clearer, or even better - the item should be installed as part of the extension.

        Hi Guys,

        I get a different error when installing the dashboard into version 16.0.3 :-

        Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[IM002] SQLDriverConnect: 0 [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified' in C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Extensions\Sales Dashboard 1.0.0\framework\classes\database\CDataBaseAccess.php:0 Stack trace: #0 C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Extensions\Sales Dashboard 1.0.0\framework\classes\database\CDataBaseAccess.php(0): PDO->__construct('odbcriver={Mi...', '', '') #1 C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Extensions\Sales Dashboard 1.0.0\framework\classes\database\CDataBaseFactory.php(0): SDExtension\DB\CDataBaseAccess->__construct(Array, 'Catalog DB') #2 C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Extensions\Sales Dashboard 1.0.0\framework\classes\database\CDataBaseFactory.php(0): SDExtension\DB\CDataBaseFactory::CreateConnection(Array, 'Catalog DB') #3 C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Extensions\Sales Dashboard 1.0.0\framework\classes\database\CDataBaseFactory.php(0): SDExtension\DB\CDataBaseFactory::GetCatalogDB in C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Extensions\Sales Dashboard 1.0.0\framework\classes\database\CDataBaseAccess.php on line 0

        I've already tried the above fix but it doesnt change this error. Any ideas?

        Thanks!
