Shipping Options

I have a product that can only be shipped via ground transport.

Is there a way to have only ground transport show up for this one product but have other options available for all other products in the catalog?

You could create a new shipping class called 'Ground 2' (or something) that is set up for items weighing, say, 50kg and over. Then, any items that can only go via ground you can give them a weight of at least 50kg. For example, if your existing 'Ground' looked like this:

Weight Cost
1.00 £1.20
2.00 £2.40
etc.

Then 'Ground 2' would look like this:

Weight Cost
50.00 £500.00
51.00 £1.20
52.00 £2.40
etc.

You would have to set the 'Excess' rule of all existing classes to 'Do not allow Excess' - that way, only 'Ground 2' will be available to your 'heavy' orders - they will not qualify for any other shipping classes.
