    Worldpay Configuration using Trial Version

    Hi

    I'm a newbie, so forgive my ignorance.

    I want to add my Worldpay configuration settings using the Form provider in Actinic Catalog.

    I have the following from Worldpay

    A Company ID

    An Account ID (or rather 2 of them - 1 which is status test and 1 currently 'not yet live'

    An Installation ID which is a number followed by my Company Name followed by 'Actinic (Actinic)'

    Which of these should be entered into the ID and Secret Key fields required by the Actinic Configuration form ?

    I've tried different permutations of them and always get the following message when I try to put through a test purchase:

    "Sorry, there was an error in processing this transaction:
    The information sent from the merchant's site is invalid or incomplete. Please send the following information to the merchant:
    The transaction cannot be processed due to one or more of the following:

    the installation ID field is blank or contains invalid characters
    a different submission protocol is required. For instance, a more secure submission may be required
    the installation number is invalid "

    Any help greatly appreciated

    The Company ID goes in the Merchant ID field on teh form, the secret key is the one that is set to test now.

    Can you try that and let me know if it worked..

      Thanks Bruce,

      I've tried this, and still get the same error.

      I've basically tried every permutation at this stage, without success.

      Any ideas ?

      I'll contact Worldpay to see if they have any suggestions.

        Hi Bruce

        I've got it to work!

        I entered the installation id in the 'Merchant ID' field and the Account ID (the one set to Test) in the Secret Key field.

        I tried a radically new approach. I actually read the 'Setting Up' help provided by Worldpay! I should obviously have done this originally!
        As the old saying goes: RTFM !

          where did you find this setting up help provided by worldpay ??
