Checkout Problem

Hi Guys & Girls,

I have just found this problem on page: os000001.cgi

It is preventing customers selecting the payment method and passing through to the Actinic Payments page = 'no orders'

I have done a 'revert to factory settings' for that page/layouts and done several purge/refreshes to no avail. Has anyone any suggestions please?

I notice an unclosed comment tag --> in the code. Have you tried to comment out the "Payment Method Selection Area" or tags to stop it showing?. Try reverting to default in the Design Library.

Found this thread while searching a checkout problem the same as this (in V12.0.3) & couldn't understand what had been changed to cause it, as only regular product & section creation / maintenance has been going on.

Then I remembered that I had done this to improve performance;
1. In SellerDeck, go to 'Design | Customise' then change to the 'Performance' tab and un-tick the box 'Check for Nested HTML Comment and FORM tags' (only when you are not carrying out any design changes).

Re-ticked the box, uploaded the site & bingo, all is well again!

Just thought that it may come in useful for someone in the future.
