    Can I change my site 1 location?

    Hello,

    I have been asked to reinstall Actinic on another machine for a client and when it came to asking where to save the site 1 folder I gave it a temporally location just to get me though the install.

    The problem I have is I need actinic to link to the original site1 folder which is currently being used by my client on another machine so how can I change it in Actinic to link to that one instead of the test one I created on the install?

    Thanks

    Try under file -> sites and on the pop up window choose 'sites directory', you should be able to change where the sites folder is located.

    Am i on the right path there?

      Hello,

      I dont seem to have anything that says "site directories" I can see a button that says configure but its grayed out, do you know how I can get that to work?

          Paul, I have Business v9.0.5 and can confirm the only buttons that are active are:

          'Done' and 'Licence New Site'
          'Activate', 'Delete' and 'Configure...' are inactive / greyed out.

          EDIT: I have only a single licence though.

              I don't think you will get a sites directory if you only have a single license, it'd be a bit pointless?

                  Ah, i meant Business Plus, do apologise!! I take it for granted the system i am on.

                  I have had a look around the files in the Actinic folder, and in the windows registry to try and find the path but no joy.
                  It must be there somewhere as i can change it in Plus....

                    For WinXP
                    goto start -> run -> and type in regedit.
                    In regedit navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Actinic -> Catalog9 -> Sites

                    For Vista
                    goto start -> run -> and type in regedit.
                    In regedit navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Wow6432Node -> Actinic -> Catalog9 -> Sites

                    When sites is highlights you will see SitesFolder and it's value. Right click on SiteFolder and select Modify. You should be able to change the value (which is a path) to where you want the new sites folder to be.
