Can I retrieve orders from a previous database which was corrupt?

I made a copy of the old database, is there a set of files I could simply drag and drop to the new database which would mean I can now see the most recent orders? Or is this not possible?

You can try and import the orders. Backup your database first then in Actinic go to File | Import Orders... then locate your backup database file and import them.

Do you have Microsoft access if so make a copy of the corrupt database and then try opening it in access version 2000, it may try to automatically repair it for you or if it just loads you can select repair

Another trick i have found is to make a copy of "ActinicCatalog.mdb" and place in say desktop

        Rename the old database ActinicCatalogold.mdb

copy the desktop version back to the original location

Most times for some strange reason it now works

The orders are inside your (old) database. In the menu when you go to Import orders you will be asked from which database you wish to import then from. Select your old database and it will import the orders from that database.
