Windows 8 and the Actinic database

All Actinic / Sellerdeck versions from 7 to 12 run on Windows 8. (http://community.sellerdeck.com/showthread.php?t=46306)

I have them all running on a W8 laptop.

However Microsoft Office 2003 does not install on Windows 8. I have though managed to install Office 2003 on W8 by installing Office XP (2002) first but I have had several sudden shutdowns of Excel after pasting data.

Are we still obliged to use the version of Microsoft Access in Office 2002 and 2003 to edit the Actinic database or can we use the new Office 2010 version of Access?

    Thank you.

IIRC you can save changes made in MS Access 2010 in 2003-7 format. (ie as mdb instead of accdb)
