Carousel not responsive on Firefox (Smart Responsive)

I have made a carousel fragment as described in the 'help'

The fragment is on the top (master) page of my catalog
ie the top of the section pages.
It is not responsive when viewed in firefox.

It IS responsive when viewed in Chrome, however it is reduced to a small size even on big screens.

The same fragment IS responsive in firefox if I move it to a brochure page.

Fragment 'maximum image width' is set to Use parent=(600) see attached image

Any clues?

The issue is caused because you have the Product Column Count set to 2 which sets products and fragments in top level to 2 columns and the Carousel is at top level it is putting it into a left column.
