Hi,
I imported some goods for the first time a few weeks ago, the shipper was a bit of a pain but I got my stuff eventually. I supplied all the import codes and paid all the levy and VAT charges. A few days ago I got a letter and cerdit note from the shipper for abut £800 because of "a change in the VAT/Duty amounts with Customs". I intend to phone the company to fnd out what the situation is exactly but they can be difficult to talk to!
I don't really intend to use this company again, can I request a refund not a credit to my account? Is there any law for this that you know about? If I phone them I know they will say no straight away because they are just a difficult company to deal with.
Thanks
