I have been asked to request help in designing a small, very inexpensive website for an artist who paints small pieces furniture, mirrors, etc. Her work will probably become a cult classic, one-of-a-kind offering.
She would like to work with the designer directly, needs help in getting good pictures of her work to post, and must keep her costs extremely low. I would work with her, but frankly, I'm just not good enough at web design, even with a great program like Actinic.
Is there someone local to Northern Virginia, Washington, DC or Maryland who might be interested in talking with this client? She has extensive connections that could possibly be of interest to a rising web designer.
