    SMTP Queues Small Business Server

    After 6 hours of deleting 250,000 emails from the internal network server (due to a badly formed email from a well known company) I have managed to get the queue down to about 3000 emails.

    under Server Management | Advanced | Exchange | Server | Queues the "stuck" connections now show messages with no sender. I can find and see the messages but highlighting and selecting either delete (no NDR) or delete (with NDR) does not remove them from the queue.

    There is nothing in "failed mail" , "mailroot\vsi 1\Queue" , "bad mail" or "pick up"

    I have been able to delete where there was a sender but these last few have no sender and will not shift for love nor money!

    Any ideas greatly welcomed... and yes... the offending originator has been blocked on the web server
