Just discovered an order for single high value item using stolen credit card with delivery to alternate address to invoice. Have just sent this email:

Dear Sir,

your order for the XYZ is currently being held by your local Police
station pending further investigation

Kind regards,

John

That will hopefully put the wind up 'em for a while

You should have added:

"Whilst visiting our store your computer's IP address, time of activity, Internet Service Provider and location of originating request were all logged to our system. We have provided this information the the investigating authorities at their request."

just for that bit of extra "twist"

IMO, fraudsters aren't going to be scared by a "we shopped you" email. It'll just go straight into oblivion with the rest of the emails, probably!
