thought I'd bring a new FREE utility to your attention,
I've actually been playing with a new utility, it puts extends your taskbar across multiple monitors Iie uses the full screenwidth of you mulitple monitors,
Its very clever, each monitor keeps the "open window buttons" on its own monitor ie, if you have FireFox open on the left hand screen, then the button for FF appears at the bottom of the left screen, (not on the right one)
I've only noticed a couple of quirky things,
1) the task bar has reverted to the boring grey, rather than the default blue
2) the clock appears on both monitors, but on the left hand monitor, its showing as 3:50pm and on the right, the clock appears as 15:50 (the settings should be for 24hr clock)
Its very clever, seems stable
take a look, Taskbar across monitors
