Played with Access about 15 years ago and never touched it since apart from repair actinic databases
Anyway I am looking for a simple database to enable my staff to just type in a item code and pull updetails about the product without using actinic
The problem is with so many sites it takes quite a lot of time for the telesales girls to change site and then find say a price for xxx, where as I want them to have open a database where they can just type the code and get all details without having to use actinic
The data required is
code
Supplier
Product Group
Colour
Size
Page
Buy
Sell
I have both Access 2007 and Open Office, and all the data in spreadsheets which I will merge into one
I know I could just use find in excell but prefer a nicer solution
Can anyone help without breaking the bank
